Getting Started With A Blog

With any project you start, you always have to start at the beginning. For this blog, this post is the starting point.

Both Andrew and I have been blogging for years. We each post regularly on a variety of blogs. I’ve used free blogs, internal community blogs, and commercial blogs that we’ve designed and maintained in-house.

I’ve studied blogs, subscribe to a huge number of blogs using RSS feeds, and monitor many sites on a daily basis. I know what works, and more importantly what doesn’t.

This blog is designed to share all of that with you. While many people are teaching how to blog, and offer you the ability to start a blog, very few blogs go the extra step of showing you how to make money with your blog.

If you are a creative professional - a photographer, wedding professional, artist, author, consultant, solo professional, or other small business owner - this blog is for you. Together Andrew and I will share with you steps we’ve taken to design and maintain a blog, bring you the best resources for your business, and give you tips to keep blogging.
